A JUNE WEDDING FOR MONIQUE & JAMIE AT CANADIAN CLUB BRAND CENTER
When Monique & Jamie came to the studio last year to see me about being their wedding photographer I hit it off with them right away. They are so much fun & Monique is a firefighter too…you don’t see too many female firefighters! I started out at Jamie’s house in Tecumseh then headed out to Hiram Walker’s Canadian Club Center. Monique wanted all outdoor shots there & I absolutely love the grounds & historical building there, so we had a great time. Red Bull planes flew by and the weather held out until it was time to move on to Per Bacco Ristorante on Ottawa St. for a gourmet celebration meal. At midnight the staff brought out some great pizza & everyone had an awesome time. Congratulations to you both. May you have a lifetime of love & happiness together!
Love you both,

NOUR & YOUNES TIE THE KNOT
On April 3rd I had the great experience of photographing Nour & Younes nuptials. It was the first Mulsim celebration I documented & they were both so much fun to be with. We took some pics at Willistead Manor then headed off to the riverfront. And what a dramatic sunset we were blessed with even though the day didn’t start out with nice weather. I almost had to be dragged away from the riverfront & that spectacular sunset. I also got to wear a hijab along with enjoying Lebanese food for the second time this year. I love Lebanese food!!!!
The whole experience was very exciting!!! Congratulations to you both and thank you for the privilege of sharing your special day.

How lucky were Matt and I to find you???
I can’t thank you enough for the amazing job you did with our wedding pictures! Looking at them shows a perfect blend of your artistic style and professional skill. There was just the right amount of formal and journalistic photos. Who could ask for anything more?
The raves that we have received about the more than 1000 images constantly put a smile on my face! That night really was the most amazing night of my life, and I’m so thankful that you were there to do such an excellent job of capturing it.
The engagement photos made a fantastic guest book (which was a HUGE hit) and your talented pictures made a perfect Post-Card to send out for my thank-you cards. Your name is always at the tip of my tongue when I hear of friends getting engaged….
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Kudos for Windsor Wedding Photographer, Amy Britton!
It really is so great to get positive feedback from my clients. It makes all my work worthwhile & puts a big smile on my face. What better way to tell your future clients how particular you are about your work than to share how satisfied others are. Here’s a little note from Candy & Lee who came here from Ohio to marry in Windsor.

Windsor Wedding Photographer Documents Nicole & Ziad’s Jubilant Lebanese Celebration!
On Saturday , February 20th Nicole & Ziad exchanged vows at St. Anthony’s in Leamington & what an exciting day it was for everyone including myself!!
I started off at Ziad’s home in Windsor where the family sang all the while I took photos causing me to be overwhelmed with joy myself.
Then off I went with my assistant Trish, to Nicole’s home where everyone there was singing too! Oh my gosh, the joy that was expressed was something I’ve never experienced before & proof positive that joy & laughter are contagious because my heart was singing too. There was not one person who did not participate & Nicole was absolutely stunning!!
After the ceremony the wedding party headed to Kingsville Park where I took some fun pics. Then it was off to the Portuguese Club where about 500 people waited for the happy bride & groom to arrive. As they entered & through the whole procession of family all I could see was money flying around everywhere. It was literally raining money! All I could think of was, “Thank God no one was throwing loonies & toonies, otherwise there would have been plenty of bruises on everyone!”
And there was singing & more singing & after the meal dancing, dancing, dancing & more singing. What an absolutely unforgettable celebration! I was so thrilled to share this special day with Nicole, Ziad & their families.
Congratulations, Nicole & Ziad & wishing you a lifetime of happiness & good fortune! Just loved all the hummus & tabbouleh. Thank you for choosing me to document the memories of your day.
Love ya!
Amy:)

Windsor Photograper, Amy Britton, of Britton Images Photography Celebrates Nine Years in Business & Three Years at the Studio
I can’t believe that it’s been nine years since I took the plunge and stated my own business, Britton Images Photography. Sometimes I have wondered if maybe I was a bit crazy to take on such a responsibility but mostly I feel grateful and blessed to be doing something I love; open a photography studio here in Windsor. How many people go through life with a dream in their heart without the opportunity of having to live that dream? From my experience not enough. Dreams are the motivators of life! And “dreams” carved in wood can be found sitting atop of my tv in the sitting area of my studio. It reminds me to always keep going. At the same time I hope it inspires the many couples who I meet about wedding photography because their blooming love is the foundation for which their dreams will hopefully come true.
The best part of running my own business is meeting all the different people that seek me out to document through my eyes their event , business, special day or family. Many of these people have become friends….some closer than others but nevertheless all very special to me. This business is all about relationships ….some will come , some will go but all will be remembered with a great deal of gratitude.
As an artist I get to experiment and grow in my field by attending photography conventions, workshops and just playing around on my own. My biggest dream is to shoot and travel so now I’m working on destination weddings to add to my portfolio.
I thank all my supporters through these years & look forward with anticipation to many more years of good fortune. I’m celebrating by throwing a holiday/anniversary party at Per Bacco Restaurant on Ottawa Street tomorrow night from 6-9pm. Looks like about 70 people will help me celebrate. I’m so excited! Per Bacco will be putting out some finger foods, there will be wine and of course a fantastic cake from Renee’s Fine Cakes. Hope to get some pics to post on the blog. See you soon.

Lana & Scott exchange wedding vows at Holy Name Parish in Essex
Lana & Scott chose Essex to celebrate their wedding and the day was perfect. Decorating was provided by Rosemary at Soiree Events with a lot of the pics being taken at Essex Railway Terminal. Old buildings and vintage cars gave me plenty of interesting backgrounds and props for photographing in an artistic and photo journalistic style. I love this freestyle kind of wedding photography and try to do as much of it as possible. Seeing and shooting the visuals like this reflects a more story-telling genre that seems to be appealing to more couples these days. Another great wedding on a perfect day with a great couple! Congratulations Lana & Scott!
Bye for now,
Britton Images Photography

Windsor Wedding for Caroline & Terry on the Ruscom River in Belle River
June 20th was the big W day for Caroline and Terry. Rosemary from Soiree Events decorated the tables with a lively plaid fabric and hung glass lanterns around the tent that sparkled in the light. This couple was super fun and organized everything with sophisticated flair. Leo, master of catered weddings and owner of Koolinis, catered a scrumptious gourmet meal and provide a beautiful cake. Elmara Flower Gardens and Gift Shop dazzled the guests with huge glass containers filled with flowers. Caroline was dressed in a gown from Rafinee while Terry sported an ensemble from Freeds of Windsor. This couple treated all their guests with overnight accomadation at Caesars Windsor and transportation to their idylic backyartd in Limos by Mr J’s. From the time they booked Britton Images Photography they were adament about having a journalistic style represented in the photography with most of the focus on the guests rather than on themselves. I had a great time with them and enjoyed the change of a very intimate setting.
Ciao,
Ms. Amy Britton

Wedding at Willistead Manor in Walkerville for Noelle & Vlad
Willistead Manor is always a sweet venue for a romantic wedding. I never get bored shooting there! Beautiful grounds, extraordinary high ceilings, stunning architecture and hardwood trim throughout the Manor are a wedding photographer’s dream. The bride looked absolutely beautiful!! With the couple’s good spirits and sense of humour, as well as the second shooter I brought, the day flew by in a flash. Congrats to you both, Noelle and Vlad!! I know you both had as much fun as we did.
Ms. Amy Britton

Wedding by Windsor Wedding Photographer Amy Britton
Carol & Charlie were so much fun to work with. This couple absolutely love the outdoors so they had their wedding cake decorated in real sheaves of wheat. They were the first couple I have shot who channeled gangsters Bonnie and Clyde by carrying around pseudo tommy guns to the delight of this photographer and their guests. What a hoot!!! Congratulations and may you both experience many years of marital fun. I just love being a wedding photographer!
Ms. Amy Britton

Nicole & Matt – Wedding Images July 11 ’09 – Windsor Wedding Photographer
Nicole and Matt were married on July 11, 2009, five years to the day mutual friends introduced them.
The Service: Nicole and Matt exchanged vows during a lovely ceremony at St. John’s Anglican Church, a quaint little historical gem in Olde Sandwich Town.
Thoughtful Gesture: Nicole attached a picture of Matt’s mother to her bouquet to signify his mother’s presence at the ceremony. Matt’s mother had lost her battle to cancer a little more than a year before.
Highlights: Kelly Hoppe, aka Mr. Chill along with Greg Cox entertained guests before the reception with a lively set of blues and jazz.
Engagement Surprise: Nicole and Matt were blindfolded by Amy for their engagement session before being taken to a secret location and photographed for their unique guest book that got loads of raves at the reception.
For more, see page 3 in the 2009 issue of Bridal Confidential magazine.
Congratulations, Nicole and Matt!

Melody & Dave’s Wedding – May 23 ’09
What a fun time! Melody and Dave were great to work with. It was especially funny when Dave left just before the reception to go and get changed into his ‘surprise’. Boy oh boy was Melody ‘surprised’… shocked is more like it… but she thought it was funny! what was it you ask? Well Dave and his friends had this bright idea to change into their kilts before the reception as a gag …plus they wanted to…. oh man… people will be talking about that for some time to come… especially Melody’s reaction! It was priceless!!

Annie and Sonja’s Wedding
What a fun day!
We went for dinner, which was yummy! then off to the ceremony at the Art Gallery of Windsor. Such a great place to take wedding photographs! It was a nice day till the storm swoop in for about 10 min! We got some great shots afterwards out side, at least the storm made for some cool clouds!
It was a great honour to shoot their wedding and be included in their family
