Raena & Quincy
This delightful family has been coming to me for the last five years for family photography & I love them like my own family!! I’ve watched the girls grow from babies. Their personalities are so vibrant ….always a joy to capture them….taking lots & lots of shots. This is the one they picked for this year’s cards.
Danielle, Miranda, Joelle & Richard
I love this photo of Danielle, Richard, Miranda & Joelle! A perfect ‘Lifestyle’ family photo where the whole family is interacting. This family was a ton of fun to work with & I captured lots of urban looking shots while we wandered around this neighbourhood. All of them had a great time! This is the shot they chose for their Christmas card.

It’s been 2 years since Grace & her mom came in for photos. Boy has she grown…. seems like a foot at least, but the same natural in front of the camera. Her family joined her for some photos to give as presents for Christmas. Hope to see you again & maybe do some shots to show off your dance moves!!
It was so much fun shooting these two little cuties……who kept me on my toes. Mason & Riley were full of playful energy. I think you can see their mischievous sides in their expressions. They certainly are close & love their mom, Dayna to bits! Look out Dayna….you’ll be quite busy for awhile. I look forward to watching them grow up through the years.
Julie & Paul have been coming with the girls for family photos since I first opened the studio. The girls are so much fun to work with & have so much personality!! They love my work & I feel so appreciated. Julie, Paul & the girls…you are the best & a big reason why I love what I do…….I get to meet wonderful people all the time.
I created a beautiful black & white album for Trinytee a while back & now the whole family including their new addition, Paul Jr. came to see me for family photos. Trinytee absolutely adores her little brother, fussing over him all the time. And what a happy boy he is!!! We all had a great time & the kids were terrific!! See ya soon.
I’ve been getting a number of calls lately from brides looking for wedding photography. This is a busy time for wedding professionals who spend a lot of time talking services/ price & making appointments. Sometimes couples get over- focused on price, choosing one photographer over another for a difference 0f $50 to $200. To many people that amount is a lot & that’s understandable given today’s economy & so on, but believe me, your wedding day only happens once.
There seems to be an abundance of week-end, part-time “photographers” who want to shoot weddings for what they see as an easy way to make a few extra dollars. Yes, some may even have a good eye with fancy equipment, but and this is a big but, can they deliver? Some of the things you may want to ask yourself is: Is this a full-time professional or a part-time amateur? Does this person have insurance, back-up person in case he/she is sick , back-up equipment & some references? Are they registered with Revenue Canada & have a GST number & legitimate business. Remember, you’re giving money upfront to someone who you have to count on to show up for your day & provide the contracted services. You may be taking a big risk to hire on an amateur just to save a few dollars. And what about experience & dependability? Shooting weddings is not an easy task. Photographers must have the ability to take charge of differing & possibly stressful situations, sometimes with a large number of people while remaining patient, calm & focused. They are on there feet all day long, have to think creatively at all times & be skilled at post processing of images. Post-processing can average out to about 40-60 hrs for a fine-art album. If having a lifetime of memories is important to a couple then finding a professional based on their work, personality & references should be the most important criteria. Most professionals usually work out to be about the same price for the same services & albums.
So to all the couples shopping for a wedding photographer, be informed & get educated! Your photos will be the ever lasting memories of your big day, passed down from generation to generation. This is one place where skimping may come back to haunt you! Get to know your photographer, ask questions & more importantly get a feel for their integrity & quality of product they produce. Shopping in this way will almost always guarantee your satisfaction. The bottom line is and always will be “You get what you pay for”.
It was fun shooting Manon with her two beautiful teenage daughters Caroline & Audreanne. The pics will be heading to family in Quebec. They loved the bright colours and even got a little silly and posed with their heads hanging upside down. I tell you there’s never a boring moment as a photog & I love every minute of it!
To Manon, Caroline & Audreanne….your family in Quebec will love these pics….Merry Christmas! Thank you for choosing me (Amy) as your photographer.
What an awesome experience it was shooting this huge family. Nella & husband Ivo, married for 50 years have this wonderful family from their union. All I can say is Wow!! This was like doing a wedding but in my Windsor Olde Walkerville studio. Then we took a few quick shots outside in the alley for that urban look. 50 years and they still look like they are in love. Congratulations, Nella & Ivo.

My very talented graphic designer designed all these wonderful holiday cards for you and your family to choose from when ordering your holiday cards from Britton Images Photography.
Don’t delay!! There’s still a little time left but it’s going quick…. just like the rest of the year! lol
This past weekend, I visited Heather and her wonderful family. We decided to go out to take advantage of the vibrant fall colours and the warm sunshine–and take some pictures, of course. The maples around Heather’s house were in peak colour and the kids were full of energy. I had a lot of fun seeing everyone again, and capturing some memories in the process. Check out some of my favourites, including one of me and Heather– we haven’t had a picture together in forever!
Autumn is one of the best seasons to do family shoots. This was a fall shoot I did with Julie, Paul and their daughters Raena and Quincy at Ojibway Park. They’re the sweetest little girls!
Thanksgiving weekend is a great time for catching up– after shooting a wedding on Saturday in Seaforth, ON, I made my way up to Toronto to visit my family. This is my beautiful niece Olivia. The sweetest sound to my ears is her little voice calling “Auntie Amy! Auntie Amy!” as I walk in the door, not to mention that great big bear hug of hers!
These are some shots we got when we went for our Thanksgiving Day walk– enjoy!
So I shot Tracy & Mark’s wedding back in 2005, awesome couple!! I’m fortunate enough to call them friends, good friends …What a great ‘job’ I have, making new friends 😉 … and capturing their memories… and then comes little Chloe, sweet pumpkin. And now, Tracy & Mark have another little bundle of joy on the way! yippie! These images were taken in the fall, they ventured down from London so I could shoot their family images. Me thinks it’s picture time again … hehe.
