More Fall Family Photography with Britton Images – Windsor Family Photographer
This past weekend, I visited Heather and her wonderful family. We decided to go out to take advantage of the vibrant fall colours and the warm sunshine–and take some pictures, of course. The maples around Heather’s house were in peak colour and the kids were full of energy. I had a lot of fun seeing everyone again, and capturing some memories in the process. Check out some of my favourites, including one of me and Heather– we haven’t had a picture together in forever!
Britton Images Fall Family Photography! – Windsor Family Photographer
Ethan (aka Optimus Prime) and his little brother Maddex were in the studio this afternoon, with their parents. We had a lot of fun (with and without bubbles) and got some great shots– not hard with such a great-looking family! Also, Happy 4th Birthday, Ethan!
Britton Images is celebrating 80 years of style with Freeds – Windsor Commercial Photographer
A few weeks ago, I was asked to be a part of printed history and shoot for the Freeds 80th Anniversary magazine. We spent 2 mornings at Freeds, documenting the people and fashion as well as the men behind 2 of Windsor’s best known salons: U4ia on Howard and T’Dye For on Ottawa.
The magazine itself is set to be released with the Windsor Star tomorrow. However, the digital copy, which is already available, can be viewed on the Windsor Star website. The following are the pages on which my work is featured. Enjoy!

Cooking with Georgina Burns
How does a plate of prime rib, roasted rosemary potatoes and mixed bean salad with a mexi- kick, sound? How about finished with your choice of mouth-watering apple or nutella-banana crepes? Yum, right?
Tuesday night I took part in a fun and informative cooking class offered by Georgina Burns at the Freed-Orman kitchen. I’m now incredibly proud to say that I’m a pro at making the above menu.. well, more or less. Either way, the kitchen was alight with positive energy, as Georgina circulated and offered thorough instruction to her pupils– I’m sure the amazing aromas wafted over to the University, lighting more than a few students’ appetites.
Georgina is a local caterer who offers weekly cooking classes out of the Freed-Orman kitchen. I know I wouldn’t mind going back again.. and I certainly recommend her class to all my friends! Jeez.. my mouth is watering just thinking about it, again.
If only computers had a scratch and sniff option..

Fall Family Photography at Ojibway Park – Windsor Family Photographer
Autumn is one of the best seasons to do family shoots. This was a fall shoot I did with Julie, Paul and their daughters Raena and Quincy at Ojibway Park. They’re the sweetest little girls!

Windsor Wedding Photographer Amy Britton documents Jackie and Antoine in Seaforth, Ontario
Jackie and Antoine were married this fall, just in time for the changing of the leaves. The ceremony took place in Seaforth, Ontario but afterward, we traveled to nearby Stratford to take pictures. The weather was beautiful, if not a little windy, and the bride and groom couldn’t have been more fun– special thanks to Antoine for enduring some of my teasing. Jackie looked absolutely stunning, which I’m sure you can see from the images. Having also shot her cousin’s wedding a few years ago, I wasn’t surprised when the traditional “cake hat” was dusted off for a few dances– in fact, I had been looking forward to it all day! Just like last time, friends and family were doing the “cake dance” well into the night!
I felt honoured for the privilege of sharing in Jackie and Antoine’s special day. Thank you, and congratulations to the both of you!
Windsor Family Photographer on Thanksgiving Weekend
Thanksgiving weekend is a great time for catching up– after shooting a wedding on Saturday in Seaforth, ON, I made my way up to Toronto to visit my family. This is my beautiful niece Olivia. The sweetest sound to my ears is her little voice calling “Auntie Amy! Auntie Amy!” as I walk in the door, not to mention that great big bear hug of hers!
These are some shots we got when we went for our Thanksgiving Day walk– enjoy!

Britton Images Family Photography in Germany! – Travel Family Photographer
I miss Europe. These lovely (if I do say so myself) family memories were captured on the most gorgeous fall day you can imagine, next to the Rhine in Frankfurt, Germany. What a wonderful family-so beautiful!
Britton Images Travel Photography – Destination Photographer
“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” -H. Miller
Truer words have never been spoken. I’m a real nut for travel and you can be sure that when I’m flying through the sky, over oceans and continents, my camera is my trusty companion. The following images are a collection of some of my favourite images taken abroad– and one in Windsor.. can you tell which one?
Remember to keep me in mind for your destination wedding!
Little Valentina’s Photo Session
My friend Soula just came in with her daughter, Valentina, the other day. It was amazing how much Valentina had grown in just the past few months. Here are a few shots from their last visit, back in March– hopefully I’ll get the October shots up soon! What a little model!
